And even though Facebook can be a good resource, watch out for people trying to scam you. Be careful about using cheats because if your game gets messed up as a result, the creators will not help you fix it and you will have to reset.
I’d say definitely join some of the Facebook groups dedicated to the game because they offer a lot of helpful advice and tips (help with quests, glitches, etc). You can still build and design houses but use your sims to farm simoleons and XP (getting them to grow green beans while you’re sleep or at work/school, sending them to work, life goals, etc). I don’t really have any advice but I would suggest not getting too attached to your sims in the early stages. I can’t really imagine what it would be like to have to start a new game whither the way it is now. It used to be a whole lot easier to get money and grow your town value.
I’ve been playing for about 4 or 5 years at this point and the game has changed a lot. But yeah basically I just put in a lot of time on this gsme.
